What is the most unwanted item in the school?

Post Date: 2022-07-14

One of the main aims of a school in the UK is to provide a happy environment for pupils to learn, but sometimes things just happen that cause pupils to feel anxious about school. It could be a problem from school, friendship difficulties, worry about exams with pressure to get a good result, experiencing or witnessing bullying…etc. Things that happen at home may also affect pupils and sometimes it happens after a long holiday or absence.

If parents noticed that the children are not acting as usual, then maybe is time to find out what was the cause and try to solve it when the issue isn't growing much.

Never let the seed of an issue grow

3 Ways to help your children.

1. Ask your children what is worrying them.
Try to do it when everyone is not rushing and ask peacefully, as children may sometime forget to ask for help. Be patient listen and guide them for the reasons. This is not to judge right or wrong. Provide emotional support if needed.

2. Work together on the issue.
Once you have spotted the reasons, always think of the solutions together with the children and work together. Showing great support to them is very important. Review the solution if needed together.

3. Reach out to the school as early as possible
If the issue happened at school, then the best way would be to communicate with the school for the solution. The class teacher would be the best person to talk to as they know your children at school. Schools are always willing to work together with parents on any issues that happened at school.
