What are the fees for the Guardian service?

Post Date: 2021-09-27

Before we move along how guardians charge for their services, it is worth remembering that a guardian will take legal responsibility for your child, provide a place to live during holidays/half-terms and act as 24h emergency contact in case of an emergency.

Guardianship providers usual provide different levels of services that meet your needs. The more comprehensive it is the higher the price would be. However, some basic fees that guardians would charge for their services will be as follows:

REGISTRATION FEES This may cover initial visits and communications between the school, parents and students. This is usually a one-off charge.
GUARDIANSHIP TERMLY FEE Gives access to all the services offered by the guardian. This can be paid per term or annually (a total of 3 terms per year).
HOMESTAY DEPOSIT This is the fee to book your child the accommodation for their half-term or term break if they are not going back home.
ACCOMMODATION FEE This fee covers the cost to stay with the host family. It covers the accommodation, meals and scheduled laundry.

A good guardian may provide more than you can think. Our Guardian partners offer bespoke UK guardianship and invaluable support to international students and are both accredited by AEGIS. Visit them for more details.
