Unlike other reports or rankings on the market that primarily focus on academics, we believe that a good school should also consider the pupils' and parents' aspects, some sections that pupils and parents would face daily are also important and will be counted.

Our grading system consists of four components including the academic aspects, the pupils' aspects, parents' aspects and what BS Portal think of the school. We hope our ranking table could give parents and pupils another angle when searching for the most suitable school.

The breakdown of the aspects:

Academic aspects (30%)
- Student achievement and learning
- Contribution of teaching

Pupils’ aspects (20%)
- SEN support
- Quality of boarding (if any)
- Leadership and management
- Pupils manner

Parents' aspects (40%)
- Drop off parking
- Various facilities
- School meal options
- School to schools connections (locally/ nationally)
- School fee (for independent school)

What BS Portal think of the school (10%)
