We were founded in 1995 so have a wealth of experience supporting students while they study in the UK and a deep understanding of the challenges facing parents and their children over large distances and across different time zones. Our experience is rooted in education, we have an in-depth knowledge of the UK school system and firsthand knowledge of excellent local schools.

We are based in the centre of the beautiful city of Cambridge, home to one of the world's most prestigious universities. As a centre of educational excellence, Cambridge and the surrounding area is home to a number of outstanding independent schools. We are ideally located to provide local guardianship services to international students throughout the East of England.

Our responsible and caring host families are fully checked and matched with students. We also offer an alternative residential programme where students can meet friends and experience a range of trips and activities.

With a background in teaching and education, Cambridge Guardians are able to offer Educational Advice as an integral part of the package. We attend parents' meetings and send a detailed report. The Covid pandemic has caused a great deal of worry for parents and students. Our aim has been to make sure we help students and parents as best we can to minimise stress and difficulties. We have provided safe and caring host families for students over the long Christmas, Easter and Summer holidays. We have provided quarantine for students on arrival to the UK. We help parents understand school requirements, we help book covid testing and dedicated transport. We have ensured all of our students have somewhere safe to stay even at very short notice.
