As the longest-reigning British monarch, the Queen has been an enduring presence in the lives of pupils, staff and Old Waynfletes for 70 years. Many of our school community were lucky enough to meet the Queen during her long reign, including Old Waynfletes Professor Sir John Cunningham (OW 1966), former Queen’s physician, and Captain Jonathan Olley (OW 2007), former Queen’s equerry.
