Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

2022 is the Queen’s year! 2 June is the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee for Her Majesty The Queen. There will be a four-day bank holiday weekend from 2 June to 5 June 2022. Her Majesty The Queen is the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee after 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom! What an honour! It is easy to find the flag of the UK anywhere on the streets. 

Here is a little fact to know. 6 February 1952 was the Queen’s accession to the throne fell. Also, it was the same day as the death of her father. Therefore, Her Majesty the Queen does not wish to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee on the same day.
